Fire Alarm Installation Procedure
- Enquiry from customer
- Engineer contacts customer to agree a suitable time and date for survey
- Free no obligation survey carried out including a detailed risk assessment. The customers’ requirements are discussed with our engineer on site
- Free no obligation quotation and detailed specification is sent to customer
- On acceptance, a time and date of alarm installation is agreed by engineer and customer
- Installation and commission of Fire Alarm System
- All necessary hand over certificates, log books and maintenance contract given to customer.
Detailed Specification includes:
- Types of fire detection devices used
- Recommended location of devices and the area that they cover
- Information regarding remote signalling (if applicable)
- Risk Assessment class
Remote Signalled Fire Alarm Systems
- Connection to Central Monitoring Station
- The Police are contacted in the event of any alarm activation
- Minimum of 2 keyholders details required
